At Muscles & Mind, every session is grounded in trust, intentional practice, and client wellbeing. These guidelines ensure we create a safe and respectful space for every individual who walks through the door.
New Clients & Intake
Before your first appointment, a thorough intake form is required. This allows me to deliver a session tailored to your needs and ensure safe treatment - especially for services like lymphatic drainage.
Bookings & Cancellations
Minimum 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule appointments.
Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a fee or require full prepayment for future bookings.

Professional Conduct & Boundaries
I am not currently a registered physiotherapist and therefore cannot diagnose or provide medical advice. All treatments are provided within the scope of massage therapy and somatic practice.
Inappropriate behaviour will result in immediate session termination and refusal of future service.
Health & Hygiene
Please postpone your appointment if you're feeling unwell, even mildly. The studio is cleaned and sanitised between every session, and your environment is always prepared with comfort and care in mind.
Confidentiality
All client information, including session notes and intake forms, is kept strictly confidential. Testimonials are only shared with written permission.
Privacy Policy
At Muscles & Mind, your privacy is treated with the same care and intention as your wellbeing. This policy outlines how your personal information is collected, used, stored, and protected in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

How Long We Keep It
Client records are retained for a minimum of 7 years from the date of your last appointment, in line with professional and legal standards. After this period, records are securely deleted or destroyed.
