Your questions answered
Muscles & Mind offers targeted Hamilton massage services for chronic tension, postural strain, and nervous system dysregulation. Each session is clinically informed and tailored to your presentation, whether you're seeking relief from jaw pain, systemic fatigue, or emotional holding.
How do I know which massage service is right for me?
Our Hamilton massage offerings include:
Face, Neck + Back Reset – For headaches, jaw tension, and upper-body holding patterns. Combines deep tissue, facial sculpting, and postural release.
Full Body Reset – For systemic tension and postural fatigue. Deep tissue and myofascial release across spine, hips, shoulders, and jaw.
Jaw Release – For TMJ dysfunction, clenching, and emotional holding. Includes intraoral buccal massage and external facial work.
Lymph Restore – For fatigue, fluid retention, and immune support. Gentle, full-body lymphatic therapy to promote parasympathetic rest.
Each massage session may include somatic breathwork and nervous system regulation techniques. If you're unsure which to book, reach out for guidance or start with the area you hold most.
What happens in the session?
Sessions begin with a brief consultation to understand your goals. From there, I apply specialised techniques (neuromuscular release, buccal massage, lymphatic drainage) delivered with clinical precision at my Hamilton massage practice at home.
How often should I get a massage?
For chronic tension or recovery, weekly or fortnightly sessions are often beneficial. For maintenance and regulation, monthly appointments work well. Regular massage supports mobility, circulation, and nervous system balance - preventing dysfunction before it builds.
Can the therapist focus on my sore areas only?
Yes. Each session is fully customised. Whether you're experiencing jaw pain, neck stiffness, or systemic fatigue, I’ll target the areas that need attention while addressing underlying patterns contributing to tension.
What evidence is there to support the use of Massage?
Massage is backed by research for its role in pain relief, stress reduction, and improved circulation. Studies show benefits for chronic neck and back pain, TMJ, fibromyalgia, and anxiety. It also supports vagal tone and nervous system regulation - making it a valuable tool for both physical and emotional recovery.

What is RTT® and how is it different from traditional hypnotherapy?
Rapid Transformational Therapy® (RTT) is a neuroscience-informed method that blends the best of hypnotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), and psychotherapy. It works directly with the subconscious mind to uncover and reframe deep-rooted beliefs and emotional patterns - often in just one to three sessions.
Unlike traditional talk therapies that focus on conscious thought and gradual behavioural change, RTT uses guided hypnosis and regression to access the root cause of an issue quickly. Clients gain insight, emotional resolution, and receive a personalised recording to reinforce new beliefs and support long-term change.
Genevieve will begin offering RTT in early 2026, with integrated RTT + Massage pathways designed to support full-spectrum healing—physically, emotionally, and subconsciously.
