Your questions answered
How do I know which massage service is right for me?
Our Hamilton massage services are tailored for specific needs. If you're unsure which one to book, consider the following:
Deep Tissue Massage – Best for chronic muscle tension, stiffness, or postural imbalances. Ideal for those needing firm pressure to release deep knots.
Myofascial & Trigger Point Release – Recommended for targeted pain relief, especially if you experience muscle tightness, headaches, TMJ issues, or referred pain from trigger points.
Facial Sculpting & Buccal Massage – Perfect for jaw tension, facial rejuvenation, and stress relief. A great option if you're looking for sculpting, lymphatic drainage, or TMJ release.
Lymphatic Drainage Massage – Best for reducing fluid retention, detoxifying the body, and supporting immune function. Gentle, rhythmic movements help stimulate lymph flow and circulation.
Somatic Breathwork Integration – I integrate Somatic Breathwork into most massage therapy sessions to support tension release. This is ideal for stress relief, nervous system regulation, and deep relaxation and helps with emotional release and body-mind alignment.
What happens in the session?
During the session, I’ll begin with a brief consultation to understand your concerns and goals. From there, I’ll apply specialised massage techniques to release tension, improve circulation, and support functional movement. Expect a relaxing yet therapeutic experience, with a focus on creating lasting physical relief.
How often should I get a massage?
The frequency depends on your goals. For chronic tension or recovery, weekly or bi-weekly sessions may be beneficial. For general maintenance and relaxation, monthly appointments work well.
Regular massage is like routine maintenance for your car—just as you wouldn’t wait for your engine to break down before getting a tune-up, your body benefits from consistent care rather than only addressing issues when pain arises.
Massage keeps your muscles, fascia, and circulation running smoothly, preventing tension from building up to the point of dysfunction. It reduces wear and tear, supports mobility and recovery, and ensures your body performs at its best, just like servicing a car to extend its lifespan and efficiency.

Can the therapist focus on my sore areas only?
Yes, each massage session is fully customised to your needs, and I can focus specifically on your sore areas. Whether you're dealing with muscle tension, trigger points, or postural imbalances, I tailor the treatment to target pain relief and restore mobility. If you prefer a more comprehensive approach, I can also incorporate techniques to address underlying patterns that may be contributing to discomfort. Let me know what you need, and I'll ensure the session is as effective as possible!
What evidence is there to support the use of Massage?
Massage therapy is backed by scientific research, demonstrating benefits in areas such as pain relief, muscle recovery, stress reduction, and circulation improvement. Studies show it can effectively help with chronic low-back pain, neck and shoulder tension, osteoarthritis, and fibromyalgia. Research also highlights its role in reducing anxiety, improving sleep, and enhancing overall mental well-being.
Regular massage with our Hamilton massage services can support nervous system regulation, mobility, and postural balance, making it an excellent addition to both therapeutic and preventative care. While effects may vary from person to person, evidence suggests that ongoing massage can contribute to long-term musculoskeletal and nervous system health.

What is RTT® and how is it different from traditional hypnotherapy?
Rapid Transformational Therapy® (RTT) is a powerful therapeutic method that works with the subconscious mind to shift deep-rooted beliefs and patterns—quickly. Unlike traditional hypnotherapy, which often spends most of the session on relaxation and surface-level suggestion, RTT gets to the root cause of an issue fast.
RTT sessions use a rapid induction (about 5 minutes) to guide you into a focused, receptive state. From there, we explore key experiences or beliefs that may be holding you back—then reframe and release them.
The result? Clients walk away with new insight, emotional resolution, and personalised, recorded suggestions to support long-term change.
