What Is Rapid Transformational Therapy®?
If you’ve ever looked into subconscious work, you’ve likely come across traditional hypnotherapy—known for its gentle relaxations, affirmations, and suggestibility techniques. It can be supportive for shifting habits or calming the mind. But sometimes, that surface-level support isn’t quite enough.
That’s where Rapid Transformational Therapy® (RTT) comes in.
While both RTT and traditional hypnotherapy access the subconscious, their pace and purpose differ. Traditional hypnotherapy often focuses on deep relaxation and repeated suggestion to encourage positive change. It tends to take a slower path, sometimes over multiple sessions, and may not always explore the root of the issue.
RTT takes a more direct approach. Using a rapid induction—often within the first five minutes—it guides you into a relaxed, focused state. From there, the session becomes interactive. We explore past experiences, uncover limiting beliefs, and reframe the old narratives that have kept you stuck.
What sets RTT apart is that it doesn’t just suggest new beliefs—it helps you understand and clear the ones that no longer serve you.
So, what exactly is RTT®?
Developed by Marisa Peer, RTT blends the most effective aspects of hypnotherapy, psychotherapy, CBT, and neuroscience. It's a practical, insight-driven method designed to go beyond symptom relief by uncovering and addressing the core belief patterns behind unwanted behaviours, thoughts, or emotions.
A typical RTT session includes:
Regression: Reconnecting with key memories that shaped the issue
Insight: Understanding how subconscious beliefs formed
Reframing: Updating those beliefs in a way the mind accepts
Transformation: Reinforcing new, empowering beliefs through a personalised recording
Why I’m integrating RTT into my practice
At Muscles & Mind, I’m always looking for ways to support the full human experience—physical, emotional, and neurological. RTT fits seamlessly alongside massage and somatic work because it offers a way to address what the body is holding beneath the tension: patterns, beliefs, and emotional loops that shape how we feel and heal.
